Sex offenders are everywhere, statistically out of the 300 million people in the U.S., there are 500,000 registered sex offenders. Of those registered, thousands more aren't and many haven't been caught. Match.com being sued will prompt them and others to do checks to see if sex offenders have register for their dating sites. But users cannot fully rely on these checks because people lie and will just change their names.
